Need a new game? Look no further than here…

Every so often, but not too often, I come across a web-site so simple, brilliant and genius in its application that I want to run around all my friends houses and shout at them to play it too. This is unusual for two reasons: 1) I hate running and 2) my friends live miles away, so it’d need to be something pretty amazing for me to run absolutely ages to tell them.

In this case, the ever-so-amazing thing is a game. But not just any game, oh no, that’d just be boring.

What makes this game completely and utterly unique is that you play this one in the URL bar at the top of the screen! Yes, the place where the address of the page is.

And yes: I am aware that sounds very dorky. But here’s the thing about that: I’m not a dork in any way, shape or form and I got completely hooked on it in a matter of seconds. You can play the game and see what you make of it by clicking here. Don’t waste any time, get to it, friend!

What has this game taught me? Well, it’s taught me that simplicity is key. You don’t always need an incredible web-site buzzing with activity and new articles appearing every hour. Really, you just need something nobody else has got. If you can get that right then you really can create something extra special and mind-blowingly good! (That even your friend Sarah Jane Szikora will love, even though she hates games even more than you usually do. There you go Sarah, I promised I’d include your name in a blog post and I now have!)

Comparing prices is important in online shopping so as to avoid the bad feeling of being cheated when you discover that what you bought is available at a lower price elsewhere. Whether you are shopping for exterior signs board, clothes or anything at all, it is very wise that you check three or more sites for the same thing before making a decision on where to buy. A few weeks back, I bought a jacket that I really liked online and felt so good about it. To me, it was a good bargain since it was on sales. After paying, I wanted to keep shopping so I visited another website where I discovered that my ‘cheap'jacket was more expensive by twenty pounds. I learnt the hard way that price comparison is a good way to save money.
